The three Senators from Rivers State has given a condition to the former governor of Rivers State Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,before he can be assured of their support during the Screening of Ministerial Nominees Next Tuesday.
The SENATORS Namely: Osinakachukwu Ideozu,George Sekibo and Olaka Wogu made their demands open, following the conditions stipulated by the Senate as a guideline for screening of Ministerial Nominees from Tuesday.
PUO REPORTS Gathered that the three Senators revealed their condition to the Senate Spokesman Senator Dino Melaye,saying that the only condition for Chibuike Amaechi to get their support is only if he directs Dakuku Peterside to withdraw his petition against Nyesom Wike from the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal Sitting in Abuja.
It is not clear to this Media if Chibuike Amaechi can succumb to the condition given by the Senators,but informed sources told PUO REPORTS that Amaechi will be cleared with or without the support of the three Rivers Senators on Tuesday.
Amaechi’s name appeared on t number 9 in the list submitted by President Mohammadu Buhari to the Senate,and screening will commence on Tuesday,with Amaechi expected to be among the early names to be screened.
