MConnect offers you free unlimited internet access with MTN NG. You’ll need a BB10 BIS subscription, for this to work. To cancel your old BIS subscription, text EXPIRE to 21600. The BIS subscription could be done with your modem, phone or any device.
To subscribe for a BIS plan:
Daily – Send BBLITED to 21600 (Or dial *216*7#) (Costs 70/day)
To Subscribe Weekly: Text BBLITEW to 21600, cost N350
To Subscribe For BB10 Lite Monthly Plan: Text BBLITEM to 21600, cost N1000
FOR PC USERS
You need a 32-bit version of JRE installed for this to work. Doesn’t matter if your PC is 64-bit.Download JREfrom here
Now Download MConnect [For PC] [Proxy + VPN] [32-bit]: Installer || ZIP
Download MConnect [For PC] [Proxy + VPN] [64-bit]: Installer || ZIP
Launch MConnect. Insert account details under settings. Then Start Proxy.
Once the server communication is successful, set your browsers to use IP 127.0.0.1 and port 8080, and you can start your browsing immediately
Optional if you want to browse without proxy then follow the procedures below…
Then switch to the VPN tab, and Connect. Wait till the status changes to CONNECTED.
For full speed, leave your browser/IDM settings at 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.you can either stick to the proxy settings, or use no proxy. No proxy supports all protocols.
